Food Blogging Can Also be About Drinks & Cocktails

Food bloggers mostly share recipes for exciting dishes and snacks for breakfast, lunch, dinner and some random munching. Drinks are as much part of our food as other things. As a food blogger, you can also write about drinks and cocktails.

Though there are blogs dedicated to drinks and cocktails, this is one niche that is less crowded. Most food bloggers start by cooking family recipes and baking cakes. You don’t want to enter the crowded niche if you know how to mix drinks or have a sense of taste for wines.

The right cocktails can make a big difference in the success of any dinner event. Your guests probably won’t complain if the chicken is dry, but if you run out of booze, the party is over. According to Nielsen CGA, Americans choose margaritas as the overall favorite cocktail. However, there are tonnes of other fabulous drinks to mix. You can focus on drinks for your food blogging. Choose drinks, mocktails and cocktails as your food blog niche, and head to your nearest American liquor store to pick up the ingredients.

Here are some recipes for mixing popular cocktail drinks. Hope this makes you excited about blogging about drinks and beyond.

The Old Fashioned

Another one of the most popular cocktails is the Old Fashioned, a comfort drink with the ideal blend of citrus, sweet, bitters and booze.
